1. How did I come to Cedar Valley Pitbull Rescue? Found as a stray with another dog (from what I was told 2. How old am I? roughly a year and a half 3. What is my personality like? She is definitely high energy, fun loving and would probably say alpha in my household but that is because my dog is rather submissive. 4. Am I potty or crate trained? Crated trained yes, potty trained she did have a couple overnight accidents she doesn’t wake anyone up if she needs to go out. 5. Do I get along with other dogs and cats? Yes she gets along great with Ryver, haven’t really had her around any other dogs yet. She can intimidate cats because she wants to play and my kitties are older and don’t want to. There has been no fights Sadie just needs to learn when play time is over. She’s getting there. 6. How am I with children? She is awesome with kids. Needs a to be introduction because she gets excited to see everyone and can jump at first. 7. What tricks or commands do I know? She will sit and lay down. Stay for short periods of time. 8. How well do I walk on a leash? I need to work with her more on the leash. She still tries to eat the leash. 9. How does this pet react to men, women and strangers? With excitement. She barks at the door bell. We are working on the stay down. She is just happy to see new people. 10. Do I have any behavioral issues or medical concerns? If the household she is in has more than one dog she needs to be with someone that doesn’t have toy aggression. Sadie is a toy thief and usually wants which ever toy Ryver has. She also is a dog that eats very quickly I have her using a dog dish that will slow her down a bit. 11. What are my favorite toys or games? She is a strong chewer. She loves to play tug of war with anything. She sounds fierce when she plays. She will fetch and occasionally let you have the toy back to throw again. 12. Who is my best friend? Ryver 13. What is my favorite thing to do Sadie eats, sleeps, cuddles and plays with all she has. She believes if your going to go go big. 14. What would be the perfect home for me? A highly active home or at least some place where she can run off a little energy. Probably not one with a toddler only because she will chew toys left unattended. 15. Special or unique about me? She’s a lover, very intelligent, and she snores! Some communities have very specific laws and regulations for this breed.
